How much does your service cost?
Fees vary, depending on a variety of factors. However, there generally is a daily fee for service, plus round-trip airfare for the companion. Client is also responsible for meals, ground transportation, and other minor incidentals.
Can you make travel arrangements for me or my loved one?
Yes. Although we are not licensed travel agents, we are able to research costs, schedules, etc. and make the arrangements upon your approval.
How do I know I can trust your travel companions?
All of our travel companions have been thoroughly screened. We have subjected them to the most comprehensive of background screenings, researching criminal activity or motor vehicle violations for every county they have lived in for the past seven years. In addition, each has gone through a rigorous application and interview process, and has supplied us with a minimum of six work and personal references.
Are your Travel Angels insured?
Yes. We carry extensive liability insurance. Our companions are our employees and are also covered by Worker’s Compensation.
Could they stay with me during my entire vacation?
Yes. Since all of our Travel Angels are nursing assistants or home health aides, in addition to pleasant companionship, they can help with all non-medical personal cares, such as help getting dressed, bathing, toileting, transfers, etc. They can even assist with medication management and administration, with supervision and direction of our R.N.
Can you accompany someone on a trip overseas?
At this point, our services are limited to travel in the United States. If you require assistance for international travel, we would gladly recommend another service that can help you.
How do I get to the airport if I don’t have family or don’t drive?
We will gladly pick you up at your home or arrange transportation to the airport for you. Upon arrival, we can meet your family member or friend or accompany you by ground transportation to your final destination.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, or can arrange an EFT (electronic funds transfer) from your bank account.
