The questions families ask us most

If your question is not here, call us. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.

How do I know which service my family member needs?
You do not need to figure that out alone. Call us and a nurse will talk through your situation, then visit the home for a free assessment. From there we recommend the right mix of services and adjust as needs change.
Who will be coming into our home?
Every caregiver on our team passes a Minnesota background study, completes our orientation and skills training, and is supervised by a licensed nurse. We introduce caregivers before the first visit and match for personality, language, and schedule.
How quickly can care start?
In most cases we can complete the assessment and begin services within a few days. Urgent situations, such as a hospital discharge, are prioritized and can often start sooner.
Do you accept Medical Assistance or waiver programs?
Yes. We work with Minnesota Medical Assistance, Elderly Waiver, CADI, and other waiver programs, as well as long-term care insurance and private pay. Our intake team will explain your options and help with paperwork.
Can we request a caregiver who speaks our language?
We do our best to match clients with caregivers who share their language and culture, and we can arrange interpreter services when needed so care plans are always understood.
What happens if our regular caregiver is sick?
We keep trained backup caregivers ready and will call you before any change in schedule. Care continues without a gap.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Schedules are built around the client, from a few hours a week of companion care to around-the-clock nursing. We will design a plan that fits your needs and budget.
